Thank you for visiting our Website! CIS is a group of international people who love to socialize together and raise money for charity! We are Canadians, Brazilians, Brits, Americans, New Zealanders, Mexicans, Swiss, Austrians, Japanese, to name a few. We are also women, men, young people or retired!
If you are interested in helping out your Sao Paulo community by participating in our events, and would like to meet a bunch of internationally minded individuals, become a CIS member here.
We have a range of different social events such as, Happy Hours, Canada Day BBQ, Hockey Night in Canada and Gala Night Dinners. OUR NEXT EVENT is the CIS COCKTAIL HOUR hosted by Honorary CIS President Ms. Abbie Dann at her home on May 31st at 7pm - for more information click here.
We usually have an event in the Sao Paulo area once per month and you can follow our activities, news and success stories in our monthly blog here.
Finally, there are great volunteer opportunities throughout our organization, from helping out with events, to hands-on volunteering with our Charities. Feel free to have an overview of our projects here.
Also, we are a non-profit organization that donates 100% of our funds raised to our charities. We depend on the small event fees, annual membership fees and from important donations and corporate sponsorship. Also in this photo is Canadian Consul General Ms. Abbie Dann, who happens to also be our Honorary CIS President. She has been crucial in our funding raising and promoting the organization. And don`t worry, there are male CIS Members too! They are just camera shy.
